Wonder Industries

As product manager and co-founder of Wonder Industries, my work extended beyond the software side of the platform to directing a couple of videos used on the website and in advertising. Wonder Industries is a B2B European online design and sourcing ecosystem, making the sales and sourcing process twice as fast, 30% cheaper and fully transparent. The platform turns the UK and European markets into an online fashion factory, offering trade and collaboration tools for both suppliers and fashion brands, with a mission to give SMEs access to the same market tools and efficiencies that are otherwise only available to large companies.

Challenge

The core challenge was always explaining what Wonder Industries is and how the software works in a short, digestible way. As a B2B platform combining sourcing, trade tools and collaboration features for an audience of suppliers and fashion brands, there was a real risk of the concept coming across as too abstract or too complex to grasp quickly, particularly in a video format where attention is limited.

Solution

The videos were directed to distil the platform down to its core value: faster, cheaper and more transparent sourcing, shown through the practical experience of using the tools rather than through technical explanation. By focusing on clear, concrete benefits rather than describing the software in the abstract, the videos made the concept accessible to viewers unfamiliar with B2B sourcing tools, while still conveying the platform's core value proposition.
