Paco Rabanne SS 2012
I was part of the design team behind Paco Rabanne's SS 2012 womenswear collection, contributing to the structural foundation of its boldest couture silhouettes.

Duration
2 months
The collection introduced a new creative direction for the house, reimagining the Paco Rabanne woman as Femme Lumière, a radiant figure ushering in a new era of freedom and self-expression. Light, both in spirit and in design, sat at the heart of the work, with hi-tech luxury taking centre stage as extraordinary materials and inventive techniques came together to create a genuinely luminous effect.
Challenge
The visionary silhouettes at the centre of the collection needed a foundation that could hold their complexity without compromising the sense of freedom the clothing was meant to express. The construction had to support elaborate couture designs while still feeling light and empowering to wear.
Solution
Working within the team, I helped develop a specialised corset engineered to support and elevate these silhouettes, balancing structural precision with the collection's spirit of innovation. The result was a harmonious fusion of innovation, structure and elegance.
