As product marketing lead for GS Diamonds brand, I led visual content strategy across digital and print, developing production techniques that dramatically improved customer engagement and conversion online. This work drove online revenue from 10% to 30% of total sales, generating €9 million in incremental revenue. I built and led a remote creative production team across three continents, developed production workflows capable of meeting the brand's quality standards, and applied fashion-honed visual storytelling to shape how the product was presented.

Challenge

Diamond jewellery is conventionally marketed through the language of exclusivity: polished surfaces, distant settings, aspirational scarcity. This brand's audience wasn't buying into that world. They were everyday people looking for something meaningful, not a status symbol. The campaign needed to reflect that, without undervaluing the product itself. It had to hold both warmth and quality.

Solution

The visual strategy moved away from typical luxury signifiers such as marble, dramatic lighting and remote, staged settings. In their place, the campaign used natural light, lived-in domestic spaces and unposed, familiar moments to root the jewellery in everyday life. Production quality remained just as exacting as any luxury shoot, every detail captured with precision, but that same craft was used to bring the jewellery closer to the viewer rather than set it apart. The result was diamonds that felt personal and within reach, not distant or unattainable. This approach translated directly into performance: online sales share tripled, and the campaign became a significant driver of the brand's incremental revenue growth.
